Yeah really. It depends for what you’re working for, it depends where you’re going and what’s your willing.

Is there a secret or not ?

LARRY
Yes, you can make it. People think it’s because you have connections. I live in Sarcelles, I had my first sneakers at 10 years old, my brother too.

LAU
Mine.

LARRY
My brother had it first, that’s cool. Decathlon, Kipsta (Decathlon’s brand for sport equipment). So no we made it because we had a talent, and we don’t savor our success, you have to work. And we worked everyday, and it’s a style that when you put in on a black shape with 1000 dancers you know where we are. You just have to work, not for money, not for connections.

LAU
I just wanna tell you, we are not the only twins dancer living on this earth, a lot of b-boys, house dancers, “hip hopers” who dance and are twins, simply don’t have the feeling. You don’t have to be twins to think like us, to dance like us with our connexion, that everyone sees, you just have to know the person you’re dancing with. There’s no magic in it. In fact there were a hugely number of women in this world who wanted to dance with Beyoncé, she announced that she wanted to make an audition with like 100 women, and trust me we saw a lot of costumes.

How many women, honestly ?

LAU
Honestly, there’s no number.

LARRY
We’ll start from 3 with some 0s after, more 0s than you think.

LAU
Oh that’s for sure. Maybe more I don’t know. Besides that, the women came from some agencies or not, she (Beyoncé) likes to see girls from the ghetto too, she likes to see personnalities, originalities and things that we don’t see in France, because it’s true that in France the auditions are really tight, they follow too much french trends. And there, they are really creatives, they like to see women who dress, who don’t neglect themselves and dance like they want to.

And what was your contribution to this audition ?

LARRY
Judges.

LAU
Judges and choreographers a bit, we taught them the “Why did you love me” (he meant ” why don’t you love me” lol) choreo we did for Beyoncé.

LARRY
Sweet dreams..

No ! Just the Why Don’t You Love Me one.
So we did it for her tour, so she said you have to taught them this choreo.

LARRY
When they saw that nobody could do the choreo, we found ourselves alone on stage.

So you have been a bit teachers..

LARRY
No we haven’t been teachers.

Well we are choreographers yes.

It’s mostly home.

Hell was at home, hell was brothers and sisters. I think that the public knows my family, now behind you (in the studio) and…shit..!

In the future, do you see yourselves in another career?

LAU
Well, we are models at Next Agency as talent, whose a lot of talents are there, like Pharell Williams, Jessie J…We’re there and everything is going great.
We did the fashion week at the front row with Dior, Karl Lagerfeld…

HOST
I don’t know why but I have this feeling that one day I’ll go to the cinemas and will see 2 tufts of hair like that…

LAU
We already choreographed a lot for the cinema but we never participated to a movie. People from the Cinema’s industry know us, show us some videos of us, often call us, but because we have projects with other people, we can’t do it right now. But we take our time.

HOST
But you are comedians too.

LAU
We are comedians, yes that’s right.

HOST
Do you have a motto ?

LARRY
There’s a lot.

LAU

LARRY
Oh it’s gonna be hard !
For the moment we’re here in Paris, teaching classes at the Juste Debout School before the Juste Debout event. We do some appearances in clubs, to say that we are in Paris for some time. But we plan to leave for something that will hurt ! (french expression to say that they’ll do something huge).

LAU
This will really hurt !

LARRY
Mouaahhahahaaa

LAU
Like the day you’re used to see me at the Gibus, and the next day you see me with B ! This gonna hurt as much !

LAU
Hum…We can’t say that !
